The building dates from 2003 and has been renovated rather than rebuilt. The current energy performance certificate rates the apartment D for energy use and for carbon dioxide emissions.
The apartment sits directly on the beach, at the start of the New Golden Mile just east of Estepona, with hiking and mountain bike trails in the hills behind. A beach restaurant is 100 metres away, a hospital and a beach club 1.5 km, an international school and a five-star hotel 2 km, Selwo Adventure Park 2.3 km and La Resina Golf 3.5 km. Supermarkets, tennis and padel are within 4 km. Estepona centre is ten minutes by car, Marbella twenty and Málaga Airport fifty.
